Hey, I’m Rachel, and I want to help you have an adventure in the Carolinas!

These two states have it all.:

  • Cool mountains and hot beaches
  • Busy cities and serene parks
  • Delicious food and jaw-dropping views

And the best part is they’re affordable to visit.

  • You’re not spending hundreds of dollars to fly to the Caribbean or Europe.
  • You’re not paying an arm and a leg for a coffee in NYC or LA.
  • Just budget-friendly vacations and memories for your scrapbook or Instagram feed!

I’ve lived in the Carolinas for more than a decade, all put together. I’ve called both Charlotte, NC and Charleston, SC home at one point or another, but I’m also nearly as at home in Asheville, NC.

While I love visiting international destinations and the rest of the US, I’ve spent the most time exploring all the little and big places in the Carolinas. Being a local lets you really slow down and get to know a place.

I can overnight in Myrtle Beach, spend a weekend in Asheville, and visit 4 state parks all in a month. And that’s just the things nearby in the Carolinas. Traveling more isn’t a difficult goal to achieve when you have so many options so close by.

It’s not just about the cities, either. I’m a huge history buff and fan of the outdoors and parks, whether local, state, or national. Most visitors flock to the beaches or the mountains, but there are cool things to see in between, too. Don’t forget: the cream filling is the best part of the Oreo!

I enjoy exploring and sharing everything these two amazing states have to offer!
